Pandering. This dude is the worst.
i mostly agree with thisAnd this right here is my whole gripe with the situation.
As someone who's been listening to Cole since '09, he has NEVER painted himself as this scholarly dude like a Lupe or Kendrick. He's always been a flawed individual who can express his faults and emotions articulately while still making vulnerable and relatable music. All that college talk and talking about growing up in Fayetteville is what everybody loved about him. He's just an honest dude who always seemed like he's learning as he goes along. All of us are, really. Doesn't mean he can't express himself, especially with the platform he has.
releasing a song directed towards someone while claiming u want conversation is corny he coulda hit her line or posted a petty tweet like she did but he wanna make
a song bout it and profit and use his fame to propel him in that particular discussion, its not like he hasnt addressed people privately like when ye was goin full MAGA
and he banged his line tryna educate him and this was after he dissed him in false prophets. ion think Cole hates her but he got hurt and went about it the wrong way
why wouldnt he? Pac responded to almost everyone who dissed him or who he thought dissed him, thats why he feuded with Nas.Lmao @ you thinking pac would respond like this in this situation.
Good Luck to Kendrick whenever he decides to put something outi mostly agree with this
as for the bold: Kendrick doesnt isnt a scholarly dude either nor is his music the case either, hes not even really a concious artist
Now Lupe your kinda right on, Lupe has painted himself and set himself up to be that artist. Hell i'll say as a Lupe fan, If that tweet was about Lupe I could understand given Lupe is that type of guy. and he gives his opinion on everything, and fits the mold of the concious rapping, trying to be scholar guy type. so if people have gripes with what he does in this lane on being looked at as a intellectual, its understandable.
But Kendrick and Cole are not scholarly dudes or artist. Both of them are not even concious artist really. Their style is more introspective. Although Cole sometimes borders and dives into concious raps on records. Either way neither are intellectuals
yup forgot bout the lil pump shyt good point, he might delete the song eventually tbh cause it legit served no purpose100%
I think cole just got in his feelings and went about it wrong. Hell, even a tweet back and forth asking for a convo would have been better. He did more with lil pump when they were saying fukk j Cole for a year.
It's just weird. And I'm curious to see how this develops because I only see it moving forward positively. Cole isn't a stupid nikka. This is a learning lesson. All it is.
nikkas in here are tripping but you can tell most people are just hurt and kinda confused about the way he did this and why.
