Cole's music is for people that would like to be intelligent but are often lacking. Nas stans are often in that bracket.
Cole's music simply isn't that deep. Lyrically he's not a gifted wordsmith. He has good flows but he's not pushing new ground with it. I understand that he's this generations guy. They want to put his work up there with Late Registration, Black on Both Sides & Illmatic.
