Drake currently getting clowned by the judge but I'm supposed to believe victory is imminent? Yea ok man. Just like the tour was gonna flop right.
yeah I agree at this point, yall know i rock with drakes music but at this point man either win the case or shut up or do both

drop the album at stfu only good music and bangers will help drake nothing else

Another thing is: Cole isn't unique enough.

Kendrick is one of the greatest conceptual and creative rappers and one of the most acclaimed.

Drake is arguably the biggest crossover act hip hop has ever seen and he's still able to dabble in a mix of rap, R&B, and international music that appeals to the masses.

Cole had the image of being the "most relatable" and the "most lyrical" for a while but dropping 7 Minute Drill and bowing out of the rap beef hurt his image of him claiming to be rap's Boogeyman. And there's tons of rappers who have dabbled in the "relatable" lane like Cole.

If we're being brutally honest, JID has been a better J Cole than the actual J Cole for like 7 years now. Better albums, better rapping, better music, more creativity, etc. while still having a relatable image. But, of course, JID is nowhere near as commercially successful. But it just goes to show that Cole's lane is much more replaceable than Kendrick's or Drake's.

:jbhmm: one of the most thought provoking lines I've heard recently from series "succession/ sanaa lathan is a lawyer and she's arguing w/ her cac client who thinks he's smarter/more intelligent than everyone else they're all intellectually and financially beneath him/ and outta nowhere instead of feeding into that, digging in and having an intellectual pissing contest :ehh: she's very massive and qwipes back: "you think you're smarter than me, and you know what? You might be! But I'm a better lawyer :gladbron:and then rattles off all the credentials etc.. my point is j.cole comes off like most rappers inflated egos etc..but he really digs into that "intelligence" lane and pac spits on all the wanton materialism and other accoutrements of the rap lifestyle / truth is cole "may" be smarter than the majority of these rappers:russ: but cole don't know "people" those intellectual hermit back pack rappers don't really have the "pulse" of the blk community because they already feel and have determined it's so beneath them:scust: and that's win j.cole got paid his biggest CHECK and it was a REALITY check!:mjlol:

I dont disagree agree with this but its mostly because kendrick and drake didnt make their career off im the nicest on this mic bars which cole did, battle was there to prove that
