I mean, if this is who he’s talking about, he actually knew this dude from from HS and this dude has taken personal shots at him. He’s cool with both Drake and Kendrick. I’m not saying the prerequisite to do a rap battle means you hate the other dude, but I can’t recall anyone rap battle where friends are battling. When Cole put out that diss to Kendrick, it sounded forced…like he was doing it just to have a rap battle on his resume like the other greats. He didn’t mean that shyt which is why he pulled out.

That's his own fault for advertising anyone can catch the fade never said anything about friends were off the table, Kendrick called all of them out on Control while acknowledging they were friends so your point isn't really a point, they all knew Kendrick was fine battling them back then

I said from the beginning the diss was meh when cats on here were praising it. When he bowed out, I said it made sense because it felt forced. Any rap battle, there has to be at least some type of animosity.
