Aren't j crew,b r, and the gap under the same ownership? But uniq lo shyts on the all
You're right, I got a couple summer dresses, rugby polos and stuff from there. A cheaper alternative![]()

I'm about to get on that Club Monaco wave I think.
Once I get my money right though, will probably be only Gitman, Hill-Side, Gant, and J. Press
But no, J. Crew is great I feel to get basic clothes but is a step up from Gap and that ilk. They've pretty much revamped their entire mens line over the past years to the point where it's more or less good quality.
I'm surprised anyone on this forum knows about J. Press. That's a brand old Ivy League-educated WASPs like George H.W. Bush rock

I really like that east coast prep look...without trying too hard though.
Some people take the prep look to the extreme and just come off looking like clowns.

In “Decline of the West,” Oswald Spengler argues that all cultural expressions go through the organic stages of birth, maturity and decadence.

No fukkn way breh...
Brooks bros >>>JCrew>>>>>>>all that other crap
BR in 2013 is nothing more than chinos and some dress shirts fck everything else they make...
the prices are a little high, but if you really want toon people, cop your gear from J Crew. For a store located in a mall, their gear is surprisingly high quality, certainly better than anything you'll find at The Gap or Banana Republic. simple, basic piff that can be paired with just about anything. no labels, clean fits, and durability that sees almost everything they sell last for years on end. i like investing in my gear, copping stuff that can worn next year and still look current. J Crew is the store for anyone looking to get their swag on. don't sleep.

Vineyard Vines were a staple in my days as a Greenie(Dartmouth).
The reinvention of the look today on college campuses(Howard) *cough* represents that decline in the culture of the Ivy look.
