Started getting social media “today, last year” memory notifications this morning of me and the homies bumping this shyt and that mixtape…I had just touched down in Philly and this shyt was the soundtrack of the whole weekend…then Sunday night after Mania we’re riding around on a late night Wawa run and see this nikka came on stage and reneged on the whole shyt …deadasss haven’t listened to his music a single day sense…it’s wild how he just let the Kendrick Industrial Complex just singlehandedly erase his whole momentum…nikka literally spent years building the run up to “The Fall Off”…this was supposed to be his MVP season, and he just gave it all away and laid down for Kendrick on some Finger Point of Doom type shyt
Here we are a full year later and The Fall Off ain’t even a fukking thought in anyone’s mind…ruined what should’ve been the defining moment of his career….such cuckery has never been seen before in the rap game…Aubrey took on like 5 or 6 muhfukkas dolo, he fukking Lion Heart compared to Jermaine…Cole should feel embarrassed listening to his song now, cause he was speaking pure facts…Kenny got jealous at his ascent, felt a type of way about his My Auntie is a Man album was received…and used rap beef as a cheap pop for his next roll out….Cole fukking called the play and was too p*ssy to stand behind it..goddamn shame

Dude had the best selling rap tour of all time as a solo rapper for a critically acclaimed album often hailed as a musical masterpiece but it was tragic, sure
His love tap was more of a "I'm jealous of the fact your worst album, which is the longuest chartin rap album of all time, is better than my best effort".
It was a blatant lie for fun but the joke ain't funny when it comes from someone that can not back it up with a good enough catalog.

He only apologized because people were quick to tell him shyt was trash, and it was, and none of the shot was even believable. And Cole was in no position to act tough, almost every shot he took was applying to himself instead (Cole been jealous, been poppin only when mentioning other names, is considered as the most boring rapper and has a mid catalogue, and often drops at the same time as another major act while being the underdog because thats get him some buzz )

The picture he paintedwas that Kendrick was on a decline, commercially and talent wise. And then Kendrick had one of the biggest years of his career and dropped one of his biggest albums. With multiple #1 records in there, including the #1 song in the country as we speak. I'm not a numbers guy when it comes to rap but when a diss is predicated on arguing a guy is bitter because he's not popping anymore....and then he has the type of year Kendrick had? That's a terrible diss. It was bad at the time and it's even worse in hindsight.
Taking pot shots at TPAB when this nikka made his own quasi TPAB immediately afterwards is hilarious.
You know a nikka's discography questionable when you gotta bring up mixtapes and features lmao. Cole got arguably the worst debut album of any noteworthy rapper, his second album was meh, and he hasn't come close to replicating the success of his third album which came out over a decade ago.
