I tried to approach project with fresh ears, I can hear influence from 3k, Em, Cole and Dot. Didn't finish album yet, but dope so far. Salute for actually rapping

This kinda my gripe with him. Every record it’s like he’s doing a 3K, Em, Kendrick or Cole rendition. Sometimes he’ll switch flows and add 2-3 of them into the mix but it’s like he’s mimicking them. I actually don’t mind when a rapper takes another rapper flow in a homage type of way but I don’t know what JID the rapper really sound like. I guess I prefer my rappers with their own clear distinct sound/flow.
