I think he means sometimes players are included in a trade to make salaries match, not because he addresses a need.

Oh I understand that.. but im still a lil bit confused because all of those trades that I listed.. those teams reached out to orlando in order to acquire those players. Not the other way around.. so in essence.. the ex Orlando players should have been considered coveted.. right?

At the top.
Redikk didnt say anything wrong; Howard tryna act like he's without flaw on that team. I think they still salty about the way he bytched his way out the team tho. They made a run, got stomped out by a better team in the finals I dont know what the big deal is :yeshrug:

Funny thing is Redikk might be in the playoffs while Howard watching from home :lolbron:

Courtney Lee - The Nets wanted him.
Redikk - The Bulls wanted him to fill in their open shooting guard position.
Turkoglu - Toronto wanted him and signed him. Phoenix did too.
Gortat - The Suns wanted him all along.
Ryan Anderson - The Hornets wanted him and eventually got him in a sign and trade.

He wants to talk about people that no one else wanted? Lets talk about the guys he wanted to bring in/back to Orlando ..

:demonic:

Outside of Lee all those guys are in the rotation for some of the worst teams in the league..Literally...So "wanting" them doesn't make your team better..It just means you have cap room and you need warm bodies to fill out your roster...

His former supporting cast has proven to be a bunch of losers...Again.. Literally...

You dont pay guys 10+ million per year to 'be a warm body to fill out a roster' :aicmon:

And your reply has pretty much zero to do with the fact that if a team targets and then trades for a player.. then theyre coveted by that team. True or false?

I'm very glad these former teammates are speaking up immediately.

Why would they be scared of a giant with a tiny head anyway?

Well if you want to be Literal Larry than yes someone technically "wants" them..

At some point somebody wanted Kwame Brown, Cole Aldrich and Hasheem Thabeet (until they didn't anymore)...

So true.. You win the semantical argument that these players are wanted (while totally missing the overall point that they aren't very good)

And bad teams overpay for below average talent all the time.. That's what makes them bad teams...

I dont blame these players for responding to Dwight. I would too if he was throwing m under the bus. Thats one unwritten rule you aint supposed to do in the NBA and thats to basically call your teammates garbage.

Well...does/did anyone actually want those nikkas?:dahell:

Pretty much. This is a perfect example of both sides being right. Can't knock Dwight for wanting more talent around him. Those guys played their role well but none of the guys he played with in ORL were truly great or even close to it. That said, Reddikk and co. hid the holes in Dwights game and now that he's playing with a guy that everybody would want he's being exposed. Not to mention the off court bytchassness that's being displayed.

I guess it's easier to form an opinion on what he said based on the little headline, vs actually seeing what he really said.. I hate that tho, especially when it's obvious that the storyline and villain role for this nygga is on 100, and anything he can and does say will be used against him. But for anyone that cares, the interview is below, the nygga clearly was not shytting on them nyggas, and the clarificationffrom dude and the interview bytch both have stated likewise...
