Yall be caping for this chick hardbody, shes a spin doctor who relies on public opinion to not honor her contract
I think she knows that a court case would not be a good look for 1501 if their contracts are as exploitative as she claims. You don't need that being exposed to the world.
To me this is what it seems like. Even to the point of manipulating the naive public to believe that a 40 percent contract is a low figureYall be caping for this chick hardbody, shes a spin doctor who relies on public opinion to not honor her contract
It gets even clearer when you look into the type of ideologies she and other women of her ilk subscribe to regarding men, women and the allocation of funds. To me this is what it seems like. Even to the point of manipulating the naive public to believe that a 40 percent contract is a low figure
Perhaps the naive public should be negotiating these deals then
That ain’t just a gangsta. That description can fit anybody trying to get ahead. What “gangsta” you know with morals or that follows codes or whatever? To be a gangsta, most times you gotta be into doing ignorant, hoe ass shyt to get ahead. That’s why I never understood why anybody looks up to these nikkas or think they’re “real”. Any “real nikka” or “gangsta” is more than likely the fakest people around…
It CAN fit anybody but “gangstas” and “real nikkas” CONTINUOUSLY fit the descriptionThat ain’t just a gangsta. That description can fit anybody trying to get ahead.
there are a lot of ways to get profits to 0, businesses do it all the time to avoid taxes, so it's not beyond comprehension that they gave her a great profit sharing deal while finding ways to prove they made little to no profit therefore she aint getting paidI’m 1000% pro-artist but you can’t expect a record label to want to renegotiate after a project performs moderately well just because the artist is on the way to becoming a star. Yes, she is the one writing her songs but I’m sure she didn’t pay for the mixing/mastering, producers, photo shoots/videos and marketing. A label isn’t going to want to renegotiate when the artist hasn’t shown a track record of being profitable yet. It’s simple business.
Also, as someone that knows several artists with deals, if they really gave her a 40% profit sharing deal, that’s really good.
This isn’t to say they couldn’t be ripping her off. I’m assuming 1501 is a production deal with 300 as the record label so they could easily be withholding the true value of how much money she’s actually entitled to but she’s not gonna know that without an audit.

clear way to not only not pay your artist, but put them in debt. lol @ yall in here defending this solely cuz you don't like meg, let this be you favorite rapper and i'm sure all of a suddenly they have every right to fight it"The rapper hired Roc Nation as her management firm in September 2019 and the filing alleges this action irked 1501 Entertainment. In the amended complaint, the rapper says Roc Nation helped her understand the contract she signed was not in keeping with industry standards.
The contract has a 60/40 split of recording income in 1501 Entertainment’s favor. Payments to outside parties (producers, sound engineers) must come out of her 40%. The initial contract also gives 1501 Entertainment a 30% cut of her touring and merchandising profits."
The colii don't follow chatty patty shyt but meg snatched them nikkas...they need to stfu, let the courts work it out, and move their "label" to the next thing. meg is out, all this yappin and claiming her success aint getting her back on your payroll suckas
and lol @ honor you contract, half yall nikkas was on KD's side of wanting to skip out on the nets, but now we honor contracts? doesn't this most recent album complete her contract with them? she did her time and they mad they can't keep her on payroll
