I respect Lil J for everything he's contributed to the game, but he seems to have kinda fallen in love with his own reputation as of lately.

Most of the stories out there about J are true everything from...... him having his goons shoot up Big Mike's home with his very pregnant girlfriend there with him

having Z-Ro beat up while in a labor dispute with him over releasing his music without his permission

not wanting to pay Devin the Dude

saving Pimp C's life when it was very apparent Master P, C-Murder, Big Boz and others from No Limit had the steel to Pimps head, had beaten him up badly, and were basically holding him hostage in a hotel room.

J beat RICO charges from the Feds as well with the help of Maxine Waters.

That's just a few of the stories of J's legend, but for as much as I respect J, I agree he's been moving funny lately. These younger cats like Youngboy and Meg the Stallion really don't care as much about reputation and how much of a mover and shaker you were in the game 20-30 years ago.

I know J has real headbusters in his circle and guys that would kill and maybe even die for him, but eventually one of these young cats are going to pull his hoe card.

Its always someone bigger, tougher, and willing raise their level of foolishness and violence to prove they're the man. J is getting older and he should be mentoring and guiding these young cats instead of punking and trying to extort them at this point. He does do a lot of good in his community, but I've heard about him in to much shyt like this in the last few years.

That's my issue with older ones from among us. Instead of helping and guiding the young crowd, they be out there trying to compete with the youngins

For the life of me, I don't get that.

As I get older, I love it. I cherish growing into that mature guide statesman role where the generation after me comes to me for advice

What the heck I look like trying to act like I'm in my early 20s?

I was dumb as hell when i was in my early 20s :pachaha: I'm not trying to go back to that

Yeah I agree, he's feeling himself to much.

Instead of mentoring these young cats he still has his hand in a lot street shyt and as a man in his mid 50s pushing 60 that isn't a good look in my opinion.

Teach these young fellas the game, tell them about the pitfalls to avoid, and be a guy that they respect. They don't necessarily have to fear you to respect you.

He leans on his reputation as a feared business man and enforcer in the streets a little to much in my opinion.
