I've been seeing people say this and you are right, the cac stans and pop fans that buy his shyt won't stop, BUT, Drake is the artist, he and his team may have to change his approach now, he will forever get clowed when talkin that tough, I'm the best rapper talk. So, Push didn't end his career but it's definitely getting re routed back to the straight pop lane. Let's not act like in recent years Drake hasn't tried to add a more aggressive element to his music. Nobody wants to say it, but although the fear of this guy on the streets is real, it's grown mostly from inflated mythology based on information spread by people with power. Why? Because the real fear is due to the fact that he has damning information about a lot of peoples homosexual and criminal activities. He's a "cleaner".
He's always been really good at creating cash businesses if you know what I mean. First with car dealerships, then with music, then fight promotion and as he got older with charitable endeavors and ministry. Ministry is what allowed him in the early nineties to create the image of the clean shaven, philanthropic, god-fearing wise OG. It's also what allowed him access to people of the cloth, politicians and other ways to create and circulate cash.
When that DEA story that Face spoke about on his album came out and really put the cherry on top of the mythological story, there were breadcrumbs hidden within that that maybe only a select group of people would have caught on to. (a) if you were from Houston and/or were associated with the ministry he helped fund; (b) if you were in politics; or (c) if you were involved in homosexual or criminal activity with one of these ministers or politicians
I'm not gonna spoonfeed ya'll, but I'll post a link. You can pay attention to certain names, use your googles and find other related (as well as unrelated) stories to put together a few scenarios. Let me make it clear: I am not accusing this man of being homosexual nor am I downplaying his reach on the streets. Unless it's sex with a minor or rape allegations, there is NOTHING Drake could say that would end Kanye's career or marriage and if it's on some "out Ye as bisexual" shyt, the backlash would be on Drake, cause HE'S THE ONE POSED TO BE THE LGTBQ friendly rapper.
