I am a MJ stan, but let me say we have never seen Bron with a HOF coaching staff that could build a team around him to make him work on his flaws and make him play to his strength.

MJ had a HOF cast and HOF coaching staff during most of his career. That's a simple undisputable fact
Phil Jackson was a cba coach then an assistant coach with 0 nba championships when he took over for the bulls. What have you seen from lebron that makes you think he would grow with a coach like that and allow him to coach him? Lebron would've got Phil fired before he even got a chance to sniff a zen book.

He looks down on coaches with 0 credentials. People act like Phil and scottie accomplished anything before mj.

Repped

He was against it in April 2001.

Came back in October 2001 at 38 and averaged 26 ppg before getting injured.

I think his career would've been just fine, rule change or not.
mj ain't average 26 as a wizard bro

& where as he could probably gun his way to the playoffs pre 01

post 01 that solo.solo shyte couldn't get him to the postseason

the scale had clearly started to shift

yes in any era mj would put up #'s

but as we see in this era your team & how you flow with them is the bigger factor

now team cohesion>>>>>>individual talent

Did you not read "before getting injured."?

My bad 25ppg.

"Before the All-Star break, Jordan was only one of two players, along with Kobe Bryant, to average more than 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists as he led the Wizards to a 26–21 record, and the only player to average more than 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists."

2001–02 Washington Wizards season - Wikipedia

"For his last 20 games pre-injury he averaged :

27.5 PPG 6.4 RPG 5.2 APG .440 FG%

And for his last 10 games pre-injury he averaged a blistering :

29.7 PPG 6.6 RPG 6.1 APG .470 FG%"

Again, his career would've been fine if he was doing that as a 38 year old man zapped of his athleticism with a bunch of clowns on his team.

I agree with JR on this. Mike is better than Bron, but not by far.
and Steph is the greatest shooter ever.

Just like Pop wasn't a HOF coach in the 90s either. Those mean nothing.

Where are Bron's ex-coaches? What team are they coaching? How many rings have they won without him?

Spo's case is different because Pat Riley has loyalty towards him since he and his pops worked for the Heat for decades.

After MJ, Kerr went to SA, Rodman went to LA, Pippen went to Portland. Much of the team stayed intact.

After Bron, Miami got dismantled. Bosh exhausted himself and got his career ended. Wade became a 15-20 mn guy. I am from Miami and hated it when Bron left, but the dude is basically unbelievable with the things he could pull off.

I still think Bron and MJ are equal in terms of IQ, but MJ is the better all-around player due to his reliability at most circumstances.

:what: are you saying Lebron leaving caused Bosh to get blood clots? and Wade didn't become a 20 min guy until this season. what kind of mental disease...if Bosh doesn't get sick in 2016 the heat at the Worst make the conference finals. thats the only reason Miami missed the playoffs in 2015.

You're kind of all over the place. I'm not sure what you're getting at with pop. Duncan grew with pop.

You asked what rings have Bron's ex coaches won? What opportunity have they been given to coach a team with great players that can win rings? What coaches have won rings since bron has been in the league? Larry Brown,Riley, Pop, Phil Jackson.....legends.....spo, doc, kerr had all star teams.

Who did Mike Brown get to coach post lebron? Oh yea stepped in for kerr in the playoffs and would've won a ring with that dream team. Paul silas? What chance did he get post lebron?

Anyways, like i said, lebron looks down on coaches who haven't accomplished shyt. He would never allow a pop or phil in his career.

So kobe could get 2 rings and go to 3 finals being a baby mj, playing his best version of hero ball in this era with phil coaching him but jordan with his supporting cast as a bull, wouldn't have?

& kobes solo résumé is nowhere near as respected as mjs

if mj had kobes finals résumé he wouldn't be mj in the eyes of the world

makes perfect sense

Ummm...we all know mj is on another level from kobe. So my point is, which I'm pretty sure you're pretending not to get is, if kobe can go to 3 straight finals and win 2 rings as a cheap version of jordan doing what you said is dead (hero ball) with phil, I'm pretty confident jordan would've done better than that.

You said that shyt (hero ball) post 01 wouldn't get him into the post season but it got kobe to 3 straight finals and 2 rings.

As I said, you're not making any sense.

the gap is not that great

the point is six rings & the perfect finals record is not happening
