That’s a lot of blue votes you’re tryna get rid of.I’m surprised NY hasn’t removed their projects like most other cities
The BX is pretty much projects and parkland

Breh...
The MTA be doing whatever the fukk they want...Them nikkas need to be investigated..
These nikkas had the 5 line running on the 2 line/the 2 line running on the 5 line and actually had the nerve to call it maintenance work as the reason for delays![]()

yoo lmao. dont get me started with that. i can rant all day about MTA, NYCHA, basicallt every city institution.
that 2/5 train switch happens a lot. feel bad for anyone living above 180th. but were you specifically referring to last night between like 6 and 7:30 pm?there was a big delay on the 1/2/3 because of "FDNY Activity" for almost 2 damn hours at the 110th & Lenox stop. In turn it caused delays on the 5 because of the 2 and 5 sharing lines in the BX. That 5 delay obviously trickled down to the 4 and 6 in the city. When I made my way to the 7 eventually, there was delays and extreme overcrowding, bc they took the 7 Express out of service for scheduled maintenance...during rush hour
I live probably less than 6 miles from work and it took me almost 2 hours to get home
My commute isnt even bad...people that live on the edges of the boros where they gotta deal with the bullshyt ass train THEN at least 1 bus
that has to be taking years off of peoples lives smh
check this article out. since the Summer the NY Times has been running ether-like peices on the MTA and how bumbling and wasteful they are
The Most Expensive Mile of Subway Track on Earth
NYCHA is going to be next with the ether exposureshow is it that they got a HUD windfall for captial repairs after Sandy, when Obama was in office, and they havent done shyt. Over 5 years
How is it that there are hundreds of thousands of people on a waiting list, but when you're on the BQE passing by the Fort Greene Houses there has been a vacant apartment sitting visible at street level for over 2 years
the worst part about it...I think NYC is the canary in the coal mine too. the infrastructure problems and decades of kicking the can down the road here...we're gonna see a lot of other cities get exposed (ala Flint)
salute to Ja for this.
its disgusting what has happened to the infrastructure in NYC. NYCHA is only part of it. a large part of it, but still.
i think it's systemic and all by design. our trains, the roads, housing, even the closure of Rikers... they're trying to usher in the privatization of everything. after decades of mismanagement and institutional failure, especially after the pension bubble bursts on the boomers who are going to be retiring...privatization will unfortunately be an easy sell . just wait until corporations sponsor certain train lines or subway stops and we'll be bombarded with ads over the loudspeaker on our already brutal commutes to and from workAmazon sponsoring the management of certain housing complexes, under the requirements that all able bodies residents work for them to maintain their homes
shyt in america is turning into a combination of Idiotracy and Infinite Jest![]()
