Nobody is trying to put anything on him. If anything they made billy look like the criminal mastermind and ja look like a dumb show pony just along for the ride.

Ja is the one that insists on incriminating himself because he can’t stand to be made a fool of.
Ja has been performing for years. He knew they werent pulling that shyt off. That's why he didn't get any reputable rappers signed on for the show. He got his bag and let the cac use him as the face of the finesse.

Brehs Ja Rule isn't a real scammer....he's just a DESPERATE businessman trying to get rich quick. Like how desperate people believe these pyramid scheme dudes preying on them :snoop:

In the Hulu doc, Rick Ross was fukking with Billy with that credit card. Billy gave him a bag of cash and Rick Ross was like :myman: let's get it. Ja met Billy during the credit card business too.

But once that business failed, Rick Ross peeped Billy was in over his head and cut ties :mjpls: while Ja Rule stayed and was like "what's next Billy?" :patrice:

If Ja wasn't desperate for cash, he wouldn't have even entertained the festival but we know Ja still trying to get back on his feet after all the money troubles from the past.

Billy was the mastermind and solely behind the scheme. Fukkin cac was out on bail working on new schemes

I wonder if they never fukked things up with the first island how things would have gone...they had Pablo Escobars island. They were asked not to mention Pablo's name but of course that arrogant cac couldnt resist

The idea had great potential but it looks vlearly like Billys intentions were to scam people the whole time

Ja rule is just a fool and a c00n

How dare a black man get over on a bunch of white boys for once without completly selling out his culture.

I wouldn't go that far , he's a born scammer hustler that finessed his way to a 1) solo rap career 2) becoming a featured artist at one of the best and most profitable periods of the music industry
3) capitolizing off of that nostagia to finesse some preppy white boys who probably bought his music into what could've been a real nice come up.

Would it be worse if it was a white artist who did that with a bunch of 6 cert ambitious young black developers ? Of course it wouldn't.

You think ja actually made any money off of this?

You don’t think all those preppy white kids and their high powered parents and lawyers got their money back? Of course they did. And they’re about to get even more once the 100 Milli lawsuit (that ja is one of the co-defendants In) hits.

The only people that actually got scammed were the BLACK Bahamians that worked for months almost 24 hours a day and didn’t get paid.

For the first year that would have been the smart thing they could so day trips to the island and then they could extend and actually plan for toilets and a working irrigation system for the next year.

I wonder if they would have pulled it off if they didn't get kicked off the first island.

One thing about that doc though people have too much money. They sold out all their tickets and were still selling them. And the base prices were insane let alone the 'premium' packages.

Crazy.
Them motherfukkers was putting close to A MILLION dollars on those wristbands. Just wasting money.

They won the lawsuits, but haven't collected, and most likely will never get their money back.

Watching both docs you could tell Ja NEEDED this thing to pop off and would have went along with anything. I died when he called himself a mogul and tried to make himself look like a boss.

The idea for the Fyre app and the festival were good, it's just that these CACs will toss money at one of their own with what seems like zero background checking.

They should have focused on the app and for the festive made it for 2-300 guest only where it would have been ultra exclusive... The. Focused on the logistics first from at least 18 months out... Billy didn’t care about non of that shyt he just needed money and was greedy

LMAO literally no one was singling Ja Rule out in this. the general consensus was "man that festival sure was a scam. Billy is a real scumbag and white people can get people to fund them no matter what. oh yeah, Ja Rule is a clown too"
then he unnecessarily gets on social media with nonsense like this:
