But ppl acted like Ja rule ruined rap music....and that 50 was coming to save it.

Ultimately 50 was a let down. His reign lasted only as long or less than Ja

Ja didn't ruin it...but people were tired of him and his music. After a rise like that....50's drop off was expected. He had a good run...but the fall off was swift.

He's right some what BUT some fans did stop fukking with him around the album he dropped Mesmerize joint, it was soon after that 50 took the rest of the fans :yeshrug:

He's also to blame some what about his own career too, it's well documented that him & Irv was taking every drug under the sun...

Fall 01- to Fall 03 or whatever the time 50 came out, the rap game was going pop, a lot of 'fun' songs were being pushed.

Street rap was not on the radar in that time span.
A lot of 'love' songs, Nelly, Ja, Ashanti, Luda, Fab etc, that love R&B format was being pushed.

50 came out with Wanksta, and he made more of a street album which reopen the wave for street songs to be made.

Those streets rappers were able to make street records and have them played once 50 dropped and that's why I believe most ppl took his side in a sense.

That fun time in the rap game had ran its course.

A lot of dudes in here who were bumping the FUKK outta G-Unit Radio, Guess Who’s Back (EP) and GRODT now acting like they never fukked with 50.

Hindsight really reveals the ho in dudes +15 years later
:hhh:
Fickle ain't the word. 50 does 50 Cent things and depending on who's the target, they either love him or hate him for it :heh:

What 50 did to JA is what pac was hoping to do to biggie :pachaha:
Umm, idk how old you are, but Alot of people who i seen, lived during the time, all say Pac did do it

Hit em up was being played in NY, nikkas outside of NY weren't fukking with Big, nikkas looked at Big funny for him not responding, etc.

the think that stopped Pac's momentum and everything was obviously Pac dying, as well as Big dying. Turning their beef into a tragedy.
This so true.. U never ever heard pac say biggie was wack tho lol.

He knew he couldnt.
He didnt call Biggie dope either

if anything, Pac seem to have looked at Big as a pawn(he didnt even address him in AAO). And when you look at how he viewed someone like Nas(who he called the leader of the east in Bomb First). Yeah there is that

DMX was hotter than Ja though. :dwillhuh:

X released two multi plat albums in the same year. :heh:

breh when X started coming for me it was after he dropped the Great Depression which only went plat. Rest In Peace but X was out of line breh. He was all over rap city and shows shytting on Def Jam saying the royalty checks are like “slave wages.” LL came on the basement a month or so later and was asked about it and he even said X was wilding.

X is my dog but he was out of line for coming at me

Im :dead::russ: @ breh callin 50 pan african

But thecoli.com hates 50 cuz he been bullied some of their favorite rappers, but dont get it fukked up, that nikka mixtape run prior to GRODT is what put him on the map n thats how he got the streets to fukk with him.

In rap, you need the streets to back you even if u sellin 5 mill.

N ja was never really hot like that on the streets... I remember bein annoyed as fukk havin to listen to his love songs on radio 24/7 and on BET.... I dont remember one lil nikka at my high school listenin to ja or sayin they was fans

To me, Ja was a club/ladies rapper who got a strong connected industry nikka in Irv and long money in Preme behind him pushin him to be a star

But he faded away so quick cuz he aint had a solid fanbase... nikkaz wasnt rockin with him n the hoz only fukked with his songs at the club but wasnt connectin to him like they do to Drake or Beyonce
