Ja would have won the battle against 50 cent if it wasn’t for Eminem. Eminem just had too much clout, fans and industry support. Man for Man. Music for Music. Art for Art. Skill for Skill. One on One. Ja would have smoked 50 cent. Sometimes the dice doesn’t roll in your favour

To paraphrase Jay-z
Too much 50 dycklicking,
Not admitting he did his best Rule rendition, singing like the a mofo, claiming he's he's truth when Beans was already in that position

This probably subtle 50 cent shade. that beef made alot of fans side against him due to 50 cents popularity. not deserved 50 obviously just a petty individual.

but lets be honest alot of his fall off was his own fault, going to jail at the height of your career for what taxes or something?

Ghosting on what later became a billion dollar franchise in the fast and furious movies? acting career would've been set off them movies alone.

Fyre Festival shyt didn't help either, although he wasn't entirely at fault for that.

dude just made some bad decisions. 50 cent was a minor bump in the road compared to all that
Naw he fell off years before going to jail.

This thread made me go back and listen to Ja, his first two albums were bangers, that third album hit and he started sounding like a whole pop artist. :mjlol:

and casual rap fans got tired of entire mixtapes of beefing, and fled to Lil Jon and Scrappy and Lil Flip.

You really think beef is why the South took off? :mjlol:

Had nothing to do with better production and a much broader appeal than East Coast(essentially NYC rap) and West Coast(Essentially LA rap). The south was always bound to take over. :yeshrug:

man... that G-unit run was one of the greatest things ever.

Yes, I have massive NY bias.

It felt so good being a young nikka and the biggest superstar in the world came from your same hood.

& 50 was lowkey Pan-African.... whole crew full of black men from different tribes.

No 50 slander allowed.

One of the greatest black men in history.
If you weren’t a real ass poster, that sentence alone would’ve warranted a neg. Come on fam. :francis:

The south took over because club music became the most popular radio music and the south had all the club music. Then trap music worked it’s way into the club music and that took over cause it was a mix of club hits and gangster shyt.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I never really cared for Ja Rule in the first place. I know that I'm in the minority on that, but it is what it is. I was sort of feeling his short run with the R.U.L.E. album but that came and went real quick. I got tired of 50 after 2005. The whole Murder Inc vs. G-Unit/Shady/Aftermath beef made me hate rap feuds for a long time BECAUSE IT LASTED FOREVER.

Better production, more versatile artists.
