I don't remember any dudes liking Ja. That's partly what contributed to 50's success. Maybe women were rockin with Ja, but I don't recall them listening to him all like that. Ja to me back then was a more gruff version of Lil Zane.

Dude’s “tolerated” Ja because women loved him. It wasn’t that his music was wack it just wayyyyy too bubblegum. Jay-Z for example was always able to maintain that balance where he was good with Brehs and Chicks. Ja, and to a lessor extent Nelly, went too far into “R&B Thug Love” territory to the point where 90% of their fanbases were women

I always fukked with JA I didn’t like that whole 50 cent fiasco because it seemed like 50 popped all of that shyt and went right ahead and did the same type of music ja did....also I always respected the fact that murder inc didn’t back down....didn’t somebody stab up a gunit member..,plus 50 is a whole damn snake.

and than after that all the indictments and all of that shyt started happening to murder inc...I still wonder what would have happened if they were able to do that deal with death row and rapalot or whoever else it was.

im sure hot rod and @shopthatwrecks have some insider info.

The G Unit movement took him out not 50.

man... that G-unit run was one of the greatest things ever.

Yes, I have massive NY bias.

It felt so good being a young nikka and the biggest superstar in the world came from your same hood.

& 50 was lowkey Pan-African.... whole crew full of black men from different tribes.

No 50 slander allowed.

One of the greatest black men in history.
