When I got this album in 01 I had never heard the Pac original so I loved it. The original though is one of Pacs best songs and it’s a shame it’s not available on any retail album. All the PAC compilations and shyt that have been released. :snoop:

Of all the people who touched Pacs song after he died, Ja easily has the version. Did the track justice IMO

I might be bugging but when I'm high and I hear this song. Always pictured it being done at the source awards and after ja rule is done and pacs voice towards the end saying "they never take me alive" echoing..... and rumors are that this dude might appear so the crowd is preparing for it standing up anxious..... then lights dim low.. and my nikka PAC jumps thru the screen breaking glass on some easy e shyt to perform that last verse and the fukking place goes bananas....

:mjcry: I b too high at times.....

that's exactly how i pictured it as well when i first heard it in 01 :mjcry:

It remains as Ja Rules best and a large reason why Pain is Love is his best album. For all the shyt Ja Rule catches he really came through on this one.

Still Royce did the best best job on Who am I.

whoever mixed it though did a great job in bringing out the song cuz the one pac had mixed was just :martin:

but of course stans are gonna disagree cuz anything pac touches is :blessed:

but sonically it was an improvement :dj2:
U don't know what you're talking about.
