:mjlol: Wiggins doesn't even half the skills Lebron had coming out of high school. He does the same back spin move over and over that will be eaten up in the NBA.

I agree. But Melo looked more NBA ready during the draft workout.

Being NBA ready isn't always a sure fire way to see who will become a premier franchise player.

The ether directed at Wiggins will be even greater than the ether directed at Lebron I see

I see there some bball iq in this thread:sas1:. I've never understood how being nba ready right now automatically means you'll be better than the player 2 years down the round. Kobe and T- Mac weren't actually "nba ready" when they came out in there drafts but that didn't hurt them. Nikkas got no long term vision . Sure jabari is more skilled offensively right now, but that's about where his advantages over wiggins and Embiid end. The upside of those two is phenomenal. Plus unless I forgot there's a defensive aspect to bball:sas2:. Jabari will be a good player but I'm betting on Embiid and wiggins being on another level than jabari in a couple of years. I think he'll win rookie of the year tho . And I hope he goes first. The Cac Gilbert deserves to miss out on Wiggins and embiid:youngsabo:. Plus I wanna see wiggins with a chip on his shoulder. Nothing feeds aggression like a feeling of disrespect.

Ive already said if this cat doesn't go #1 it will be a travesty:manny:

This nikka is NBA READY RIGHT NOW, and will get better, sure Wiggins and Embiid are athletic freaks, Parker is SKILLED and is no slouch in the athletic department:beli:

But gon head and pick Rudy Gay Jr and a poor mans Dwight Howard over Parker:umad:

Rare instance I 10000 percent agree with you. I've been dikkriding n/h Jabari since that Duke Kansas game. This boy is nice, very nice.

His footwork and agility for his size is incredible. Definitely reminds me of a Melo/Pierce hybrid. His midrange game is beautiful.

Wiggins is gonna be good though if he plays in the right system but I feel like Jabari could be plugged in anywhere and go to work.

The big thing I notice about Wiggins are things that can be improved with time, coaching, and training.

If you look at his mechanics of his shooting, his form is pretty good. A little stiff but good. He has a nice step back jumper too.

His ball handling is suspect but it's something that can be improved. He's like Durant in the sense that his extreme length and span mean that he's just not used to dealing with actual ball hawks. He just needs to work on being in more control and knowing when to extend his steps for maximum stride or shorten it for more control.

If you look at his defense, you see that he has great footwork and lateral quickness so he can turn that it into better ball handling.

I see Jabari being a Pierce / Joe Johnson type. Good to great for most of their career. I see elite potential in Wiggins.
