That's on coaching breh.. They don't know what they doing. Every game we hear that there are communication issues, players being straight up confused on what to do. How is that still possible when they've been playing in the same scheme for 3 years!?:damn:

You have to ask a few questions...if it's communication issues

1. who is the unquestioned leader of that defense? cause Mack may be the best defender...but he aint really the leader.

2. If there is no true leader, who's listening to who?

ideally, Nelson should be QB'ing the defense... but it's clear that he can't get people in position... a lot of time he was out of position cause he was expecting somebody to be someplace they should've been. it's a lot of good athletes with low football IQ's out there.

Raiders need to move to a 3-4 scheme. Mack and Edwards Jr off the edge would at least provide consistent pressure to help the secondary.

Nah fire the coordinators first, then see how the team plays. If they still garbage, then you fire Del Rio. The Raiders have been through too many damn head coaches to give up on this one because of a bad first half, especially a year after they went 12-4.
The 12-4 was fools gold though. We won a lot of close games and got wins when we were down two scores in the 4th quarter. I'm a big believer in point differential and our point differential last year was closer to a 8-8 team.

Here’s the deal breh, people fell for the banana in the tailpipe that Norton was a liability and open the door for the Pagano hire. Too many chefs in the kitchen at this point. Pagano was suppose to improve the “communication” issues, but now just seems like a guy hired to have Norton looking over his shoulder. This team was tied for 1st last year in turn over ratio, and now haven’t had a single pick all year. If the Raiders brass would have just keep things the way they were a year a ago with Musgrave & Norton, this season wouldn’t have have been as bad. Now, you gotta fire Norton because you’ve basically undermined what he did accomplish last year, and hope your 1st and 2nd round DBs finally get on the field this year and get some experience for next.

Also, this is Carr’s offense, and he’s the reason it’s struggling. They forced Musgrave out to run a similar version of his Fresno St offense, and the shyt backfired. Downing needs to just pound the rock 30+ times a game and try to shorten some games until the bye, then revamp the offense.
