Rap/Hip-Hop is about to turn all white. Once that happens they will gatekeep it and keep Black folks out.

After a while it will be seen as a white genre like Rock n' Roll. They already saying Eminem is greatest rapper ever.

Not with all of the evidence that's out there. Ain't no way they can say white people started it.

He been signed to Drama and Don Cannon for almost 5 years, he signed a little bit after Uzi, but they never hid the fact he was signed, so no he’s not an industry plant.

He's not a plant by the traditional definition, because he's been signed for years and has been coached into the star he is today. But the fact that Jack is receiving this kinda push and resources is definitely some plant shyt. The industry basically pushed the button for Jack by giving him all these looks without him actually earning them.

Drama and Don Cannon are fully aware of the marketability of a white rapper, and that's why they invested so much into Jack Harlow versus a Willie The Kid or whoever else they worked with in the past. They didn't even support Uzi like this and Uzi has been mad vocal about how Drama hindered his career. Meanwhile they clearing expensive pop samples and posthumous Static Major features for Jack's projects.

Rap/Hip-Hop is a big industry right now and will continue to grow. White people will end up being the gatekeepers of it at this rate.

Folks like the woman below will be considered hip-hop pioneers

:dahell: Willie The Kid didn't blow up, but it damn sure wasn't because DJ Drama didn't invest in him. You know how many times Drama would shoehorn either Willie The Kid, La The Darkman or both on a fukkin song, and that was when Drama had pull on a major label. We just didn't fukk with him on that level. He's more appreciated in the underground which is why he's there now. Without What's Poppin, there's no way to assume that Jack Harlow woulda blown up.

Getting an industry push does NOT = being an industry plant. The Coli definition of industry plant has now become "why is the industry that I don't care for shoving this artist down my throat that I don't like? Meanwhile this artist I do like isn't getting that attention (nor do I want him to because if they do I won't like him anymore)"
