I used to live in a city in Mississippi that doesn't have a movie theatre or mall. It's more common in the south than you think.

They had a Cinemark theater around there last time I went in 2016. I know the mall had been struggling. Didn’t know they all shut down though smh I used to go to Jackson every summer as a kid in the 90s

If you understand the conditioning that was done on plantations to black people, you'd know.. Every time i see chitterlings being ate by us, despite having better options available, lets me know we still carrying issues from slavery..
