Well not everything is part of a nefarious plot. Lead pipes seemed lilke a good idea when they wee laid 150 years ago Now we know about lead poisioning.

Even replacing the pipes especially without water disruptions takes time, but yeah there's less urgency in certain areas.

we have hella lead pipes out here in the ground. they been replacing them for years. the ones on my block were done a couple years ago, and they have been slowly rolling out the new pipes throughout the entire city. so it can be done.

when people on this website advocate brehs going back to the south and living in concentration in Black Areas they fail to account for the fact that people had already been there and left in large migrations for a reason. The type of targeted neglect that is visited on places like Jackson and Flint is hard to do in mixed demographics

That's literally how it's done the world over. I was in Tanzania and they were burying PVC/ and concrete pipes. In TZ most of the pipes aren't buried so you have the open sewer shyt around.

Everyone replaces piping slowly over time with few disruptions in service.

You live up to your name you see people fixing pipes all the time. shyt Cheap ass PVC piping fukks with kids testosterone levels yet they use that along side other materials.

The best way to fix it according to your suggstion is for Congress to provide immediate funding (which a large part will be eaten up by legal fees and sheisty contractors) and rip out a replace all piping immediately. Only problem is people have to wash their ass and shyt now, Unless they want to go to the River then shyt will take time.

I guarantee you that Mississippi has money from the Federal government sitting that they refused to use. So you basically have a dying city what cannot or does not pay much taxes, crumbling infrastructure, no means of repairing anything due to low tax revenue, and a state legislature/governor content to let the city die enough until white people move back and retake everything.

Not much to be done outside of federal involvement. At the same time something has to be said about the general disorder of multiple black cities and the terrible mayors, city councils, etc they continually elect. Surely decades of this would convince people that maybe voting for who your pastor tells you to vote for isn't a good idea. This is not advocating for republicans. There are young activists and college grads who run for these offices all the time and lose to these 60 year old politicians because the pastor said he/she is a friend of the congregation. Enough of that shyt.

Bruh it’s so many cheap places to live in rural areas of Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas & Tennessee that are full of black folks but a lot of folks not ready to live life at a slower pace.

People with the right mindset and money can turn those areas into something amazing away from all the BS
