these :flabbynsick: nikkas are stuck in their old way :snoop:

U know what it is
When u've seen and heard better, u are not easily impressed by a lot of the new shyt of today
it might sound crabby or like we trying to shyt on these nikkas, but a lot of the new nikkas of today just ain't bringing like the nikkas we grew up listening too.
Sorry, it is what it is.
When the standard was set so high in the 90's and u know how great music once was and can be and then u seee the bullshyt u see today it's downright sad

It is, u right.
I'm just saying I'd rather listen to Sisqo cause there's more of his songs that I like as oppose to Jacquees
But nothing wrong w/ listening to both

I get what you're saying. My R&B collection is 80% old school, but I do give new artists a chance. I have been listening to Jacquees for a while and he is definitely ann exxception who deserves to be given a chance by old heads because he tries to bring back that old r&b flavor back. He even reached out to Jagged Edge, Jermain Dupri and Donell Jones for this debut. That alone should tell you he aint trying to make microwave music. he's serious about this
