I seen this in social media recently. To me its clearly common, better álbuns. Bar wise I would say they are equal. Jadakiss bars are kinda overrated in my opinion and common is more on some poetic / story telling shyt than heavy bars

Jadakiss also ain't a great story teller.

Jada is cool and Of course for the street nikkas Jadakiss is better but on the real this shouldnt even be a dwbate

Common has at least 4 classic albums and another 4 - 5 good to great albums.

Jada has zero, I’d put all 8-9 of those Common albums up against his best album.

Common also has better singles (street, conscious, club, and for the ladies), more classic verses, more classic features, dropped one of the greatest diss records of all time against one of the most popular rappers in the entire world at the height of their career, has a couple decades long film career, legendary body count, plus he has better uprock and floor work than Jada.

And Kiss is my guy, but Common has the catalogue and skill to be Top 10.

Kiss can't drop a classic to save his life. And I think that's what held him back from being one of the actual greats. I still don’t get what the deal is with that.

4. He has hit songs gold & platinum albums.

Common is really him. I also think if he dropped Electric Circus today it will be met with acclaim. It’s a fire album.

And Common is ACTUALLY from the streets a real 4CH! Not clarence whose parents had a real good marriage like Jada lol okay I’m joking but yeah

Common also unintentionally lended credence to the idea of Drake being an elite rapper when the boy just casually murdered hating ass Common on stay scheming Drake caught two bodies in the mainstream and Common is one of em. We don't talk about it as much because Common seems to be a nice guy and Drake was graceful with it but come on son I'm not putting you over Kiss and you let Drake tell you what bothers him is you acting like a broad



Funniest part of all this is even though I can't stand Common as a rapper I actually fw him as an actor he's killing it on Silo. But if there was a Harlem for Chicago his ass ain't in there

He goes solo and tries to do the same club music on singles that Puff wanted him doing. Very dope mc, but reminds me of another Brooklyn rapper I know that had it all and dropped the ball trying to be street only to make crossover music he should have been making all along when he had the opportunity. I won't say his name cuz he's one of my favorites and an associate.

It's true.

Kiss has all the talent in the world, but no direction.

Westside Gunn said he told Jada to lock in with him for a month and he would "curate" a classic album for him. But he said Kiss never calls him back about it, lol. There's other artists who really want him to make this classic project we all know he can make. We just ain't get it yet.
