And notice it's usually a$$holes who become extremely religious.

When no mortals want to speak to you anymore, you find the higher power to speak to.

And pretty much a high percentage of athletes are religious, nothing wrong with that, but this is an example of someone who doesn't want to work with his teammates and he thinks he's better than them because he preaches about armageddon every day.

He'll try to come back to NBA once money runs out.

I think he's actually mentally ill. Bipolar and/or psychotic.

BTW, that Shams tweet was nasty knowing there was more to the story than just that Anti-gay rant. Seems like this was the last straw for them. You can't be mid and be a distraction to boot.

Breh gonna be on Fox News in a couple of weeks with "NBA Legend" under his name graphic.
Unfortunately I can see this happening. Hopefully he finds the help he needs before they get they claws in him and prop him up and use them for their propaganda.

Say what you want about him and his issues, but now millions of more people (nba fans) are hearing the gospel because his situation :hubie:

Plus now more and more Christian athletes might get right or become more bold in their faith as a show of support :manny:

The [not so] funny thing about this is, what he’s saying is not the gospel.

He’s in a state of religious psychosis.

He’s got some childhood trauma he hasn’t addressed in a healthy manner and it’s manifested itself in the form of what he believes to be literal demons, because the actual demon that sexually abused him is too much for him to cope with.

The man has said he’s tried to take his life multiple times.

You think his situation is really something you should be sticking your chest out over? Is that what you want your faith to be empowered by?

He’s saying ALOT because he’s a human telling his story unfiltered and unapologetically

But he’s literally quoting bible scriptures and preaching Jesus died for your sins and how Jesus saved him and his life

That’s the “gospel” 101

It’s up to you to read between the lines :manny:

Any grown up listening to his story can use discernment

Also you’re disregarding anyone who’s gone through similar struggles and can relate

Maybe he’s talking directly to them…. I dunno?

But if you’re a Christian I can’t see you NOT supporting him in one way or another

Non Christians completely mocking him and throwing him in the “bushes” is understandable but still wrong just simply on a human level

Bro literally said God doesn't listen to sinners :heh:

NBA fans are just hearing some psychotic babble that has very little to do with the gospel.

Condemning others and attacking them for being "unrighteous" is the opposite of the gospel, fool

Making people that actually follow Christ's teachings look stupid

Condemning others and attacking them for being "unrighteous" is the opposite of the gospel, fool

Making people that actually follow Christ's teachings look stupid

You never heard a preacher preach?

You can call someone unrighteous as it is said in the bible

Didn’t Jesus say nobody is “good”

And scripture says “All our righteousness is “filthy rags” to God

Let’s be real, it’s enough scripture and Bible stories talking about sin, unrighteousness and shortcomings of mankind

The gospel is Jesus being the solution or “salvation”.

Can’t have a solution without a problem existing. Read between the lines

Jaden isn’t just saying “you’re going to hell” he’s preaching Jesus saves a lot as well

You chose to focus on what YOU want to. Do you….. :manny:

Like I said, I don’t co-sign his approach or weird delivery and mannerisms

Neither do I think it’s ok or smart using his platform or job to FORCE his opinion

But LGBT forces their PRIDE events on all nba players/fans in the same manner so…. Touche

But that’s besides the point
