And Jaden can't act?? He isn't better then 90% of the other teenage actors in Hollyweird? His skills are median, because MOST of hollyweird can't act that good. Jaden is OK. He's no better then Andrew Garfield and he gets accolades. With a big budget and a respectable director, this movie will be fine.

it's about star power and whether you want to admit it or not, Static Shock isn't a draw. It's just not.

You need someone like Jaden to get this shyt established because he will get people to watch the movie, period. It's a business and this is a sound business decision. The property was sitting on the shelf until it got an A list black teen to star in it.

Static has a charismatic personality; Jaden doesn't seem to have that in him. His roles in his films are monotonous. I will like to see Warner Bros a vesting interest in pursuing another character that can portray Static really well in the web series.
