His track record shows he's not a person you can rely on

It's not just that, it's the fact that he's shown he will jump from job to job at the drop of a dime.

- McVay discovered him out of Maine and brought him up the ranks
- He gets an OC job offer from Kentucky and he takes it
- A year later McVay offers him the offers him the OC job and he takes it
- The next year he leaves and goes back to Kentucky for more money (also claimed he missed coaching kids)
- Then a year later he goes to Tampa Bay, claiming he enjoyed his time with Baker in LA and wanted to reunite with him

Now this situation. Not only did he ghost the Bucs, but he lied about it. He better hopes he gets the Jags job and can keep it. Because if he gets fired from that, it's not gonna look good for him :francis:

Sometimes you have to put a sick day in to take an interview.

Seems like this nikka has a problem with the truth. Hopefully he doesn't quit in 2 years.

The way he treated Jim Harbaugh pissed off a lot of people in football circles.

Yea. 49ers fans were ready to put paws on Trent Baalke. Dude used an injury riddled 8-8 season to make Jim Harbaugh a scape goat. Players were quitting and demanding trades after that silly shyt. That's how much Harbaugh was beloved.
