Interesting development. Trav's big play ability has been more evident in the past few weeks. He's turning screens and quick outs into 15 yard gains. Shaking defenders every time he touches the ball. We all saw that catch he made against the Chiefs. They just haven't put the ball in his hands or schemed for him enough. Makes sense because he's playing both ways and it's clear they've been taking a conservative approach with him. But I been saying it's time to really unleash him and I'm glad to see Liam Coen is thinking in that direction. We wont know for sure that he can do both at a high level unless they deploy him like he did at CU.

It looks like Travis Hunter is going to have a bigger role on offense for the Jacksonville Jaguars starting Sunday at London's Wembley Stadium.

Jaguars coach Liam Coen said Wednesday that they are making it a priority to design and call more plays in which Hunter is the No. 1 option to take advantage of his speed and athleticism.

"Scheming him open is part of it, No. 1," Coen said from The Grove resort, where the team is staying and practicing this week in London. "Our job as an offensive staff [is] to make sure we're putting him in the progression and putting him in the position to be No. 1 [option] a little bit more often in some ways.

"And then when he is the primary [option], we've got to throw and catch. We've got to make sure that we identify it, find him, be able to be at the right spot at the right time. So I think it's a combination of a lot of those things that ultimately can all be controlled."

It's interesting because I thought he could be a special defensive back but they went the other way. Not mad at it though Travis is a special athlete.

Told yall the big plays are coming at WR
The two way dreams aren't sustainable, though. He's not gonna be able to be elite at both positions, so he's gonna have to pick one, or the Jags are gonna have to pick one for him.

So far he seems to be a better receiver than corner and have more upside there. He's also got the potential to make more as a receiver, though I guess if he was a Revis-level corner he could break the bank. But he's much closer to being a hit at receiver than at corner.

The Jags also need to make sure that if they deploy him as a #1, he truly is that, because they are alienating Thomas who already showed #1 potential.

Ultimately if I was running decisions for the Jags I'd have Trav playing receiver exclusively, we seen enough at corner, he not it at the NFL level. We would develop Trav as a receiver but Thomas would be my #1, and I'd try to build one of the best WR rooms in yhe NFL.

Priority #1 would be giving Lawrence the fukking boot this offseason though, try to bring back Mac Jones.

There's already a lot of good tape on him at CB. They just been inconsistent with his snaps. Once they start him a both sides and have him play a full game at both we'll know what he can do for real and if he can sustain it.

Starting at both sides means you're subjecting him to the physical demands and responsibilities of both positions, nobody is sustaining that. We'll see.
