Dude has a great catalog but one, i don't think he ever had a big top 40 hit, also no songs with a jay z, snoop, pharrell, etc. He was kinda down with next but for the most part didnt have a specific crew or label or producer that he was tied to, lastly he wasn't a sex symbol...to me I think that's what really held him back. He has a much better catalog than tyrese to me, but ty was a big sex symbol so that made him bigger (even outside the acting boost).

He had a joint with Nelly back when Nelly was a monster. My Place went to #4 on the charts. It wasn't his song though :manny:

Jaheim is cold. I've got all his albums and I totally agree about him being underrated. I didn't know the "he might be gay" stuff was an actual though though. I only know of it because my mum said something about him seemed "off" when we saw him perform live about 10+ years ago. I must have been 10/11 so I wasn't picking up on :wrist: vibes like that.

He's had a couple of top 40 hits. Nothing ever cracked past 20 so I guess you're right if you mean top 10. Put That Woman First was his highest at 20.

On the hot 100 or on the r&b charts? Put that woman first ain't even his best song, I'm surprised it's his best charting
