Sonny Corinthos
Superstar
Don't care if it's been said or not yet...but Boogie ain't been this reckless ever and he's been on a loser his whole career. But yet he's labeled an immature loser

i see you refused to listen. so let me say it again.
philly is a terrible team to play for as a rookie that wants to win ever. the reason i'm saying this is because their logic is we will tank until we get lebron and shaq or shaq and kobe in the draft. then we'll start to create something after that point. the thing about that logic is, its no telling when you will land two of those legendary players. or if ever. so how long will the tank seasons go? you have no idea as a rookie or young player that wants to win at least in his youth or by the time his prime hits.
the lakers have a serious track record of making bigs into legends and also winning rings. doesnt matter if the fly by night teams that havent seen a ring in 40 years are winning now. thats a fluke scenario. whats less fluke is that the lakers will eventually get back to their winning ways. so being a laker as okafor vs being a 76er is two completely different things even though both teams are bad RIGHT NOW. The lakers are literally trying to find that FA thats want to come here to make the team better RIGHT NOW. philly is not doing that at all.philly wants to stay really bad until they draft their superstars. so they can pay them less while they are stars. steph and klay situation, durant and westbrook situation.
the perfect scenario for any team is to have two star players that came with your team as rookies and getting paid rookie salaries. but are producing at an allstar rate.
you said eventually ownership wants to see results. SAYS WHO?The only thing I can even sort of understand is the idea that they're tanking til they get that guy. You can argue that Philly DID get those guys in Noel, Embiid and Okafor and they're still hunting for that top pick. That's where they need to be held accountable. Otherwise, who would they have picked otherwise?
But what you're missing is that they can't keep doing that even if they wanted to much longer. Eventually ownership is gonna wanna see results. If they don't come soon, everyone will lose their jobs and then someone else is gonna come in with a mandate to fix it quick. In other words, Jah isn't gonna be dealing with this in year 3 let alone future seasons after that because unless your ownership doesn't care, he's gonna have to chop off some heads just to keep heat off him.
Your Lakers point is all conjecture and gut feeling. These are not the same Lakers you're used to. Jerry Buss ain't walking through that door. Jerry West is only walking through that door as a visitor. Hell, the Lakers passed up Jah, so if he's that nice, what does that say about their aptitude? If anything, as bad as Philly is, LA's mountain may be higher to climb because they're in the West. The Lakers are on track to do shyt they've never done before in terms of losing, so this is uncharted territory and even they know they can't just assume someone will sign there because it says "Lakers" on the front.
you said eventually ownership wants to see results. SAYS WHO?
Do you know what Results are for rich people who own businesses? It's called the bottom line = $$$$. as long as the team is making $$$, the man upstairs IS HAPPY. MOST owners. Let me repeat this. MOST OWNERS dont really care about winning. They care about making a ton of money. if they can win too, great. if not. great. as long as the $$$ is coming in. You keep getting super high picks. people keep coming out with hope. you're selling your fanbase hopes and dreams forever. it will work in a place like philly since the team has pretty much been out of it since dr J.
not so in places that know nothing but losing for decades. not a decade. but decades. upon decades.so they can sell this same weak dream to their fans for another 40 years and they will still bite.
go over 100 mph on bridges brehs
im too shook to speed on the Ben
that bridge is horrible
I'm not disagreeing wit you about it bein dangerous cuz I drive on it alot and it definitely is. I just think people are makin a bigger deal then it really is makin it seem like he's doin this cuz he doesnt wanna play for the SixersBeen taking the Ben Franklin for years, commuting into the city....leavin dinners in Center City, late....leaving events or clubs in Philly, late....the only only ONLY time you gon speed like that is at night or dawn or something.
I get what @torcher is sayin, like, it IS just a speeding ticket, but I guess I would feel different if it was the Schuylkill or along the Blvd or summ...it's just DUMB to go that fast across the Ben, damn near like playin chicken with ya life...nikka was wildin'.
Embiid don't want to wear his boot and addicted to chicken tenders and shirley temples, Okafor getting in bar fights and thinks he's in Midnight Club, Nerlens can't make a shot outside of 3 feet and Saric trying to wait as long as possible before coming over
