Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx stopped by ESPN‘s NBA Countdownon Wednesday during halftime of the Trail Blazers vs Warriors game. During the show, Foxx was asked to look at a meme that Tracy McGrady posted on his Instagram earlier that day. That meme featured six NBA players — Hakeem Olajuwon, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Tim Duncan, and Shaquille O’Neal — and the line, “Name the worst player in this picture.” Foxx created some hate when he took one quick glance at the photo and then took about two seconds to choose the player he would label as the “worst” on the list: Kobe Bryant. Watch the video above and check out some of the responses below.

Kobe will not get the after retirement mythology like he was hoping.
He should be greatful that some idiots mention his name alongside Jordan

Kobe is still one influential players of all time, though, there's always somebody in the league who will mention him and he got millions of followers. Now you mean mythology like Jordan? No, kobe just retired. you can't spread lies about his career yet, gotta give it one year at the very least

The problem is the numbers don't support the stans' claims that Kobe was head and shoulders above the rest. Jordan was known as the superior scorer, clutch player, winner etc throughout his career and every metric backs it up.

Kobe basically got credit for being Jordan while he played but unless you are a fan of him, it never matched up.

No he was never what you Kobe stans claim. Never. He never held that mantle of hands down the best, he was never the man in the league, he was a media creation.

The most game winners
3rd in scoring history
2nd highest scoring game
2nd in post season points
5 most PPG in a season
5 rings, an MVP and probably made the lakers organization well over 100 million.
Multiple young players emulate him

I think Kobe did good for himself. I never hyped him to be over Jordan. That's foolishness. Nikkas such like you trying to convince yourself that one day everybody will stop caring for Kobe and that will never happen. Hell Kyrie hit a game winner over the Warriors and talked about how much that meant

Kyrie Irving says he would take Kobe Bryant’s mental approach over anyone else’s

Kyrie Irving has played alongside LeBron James the past two seasons, getting an up-close look at one of the best all-around players in NBA history. But if you ask the Cleveland Cavaliers star point guard, Kobe Bryant is the player he admires the most from a mental standpoint.

"In terms of a mental approach, as well as some technical stuff about the game, I’ll always go to Kobe because he’s as polished as they come," Irving told NBCSports.com. "If you’re talking about who literally just physically imposed himself on the game every single day, and that mindset, oh I definitely going to talk Kobe."

Kobe has an always be, one of the most loved players ever. The fact u been hating on him since SOHH is an example because if nobody cared for Kobe like you claim, you still wouldn't be in every other thread arguing with us even after he retired.

The same media the called him a rapist, said he chased Shaq out of LA when the lakers dlearly chooke Kobe over him, praised Phil Jackson for dissing Kobe in his book and voted Kobe as the most hated player in the world for years? Oh them nikkas?

Not surprised by Kyrie, a me first scorer who cant elevate his team's play. Makes perfect sense why he would value Kobe's approach
