No he was never what you Kobe stans claim. Never. He never held that mantle of hands down the best, he was never the man in the league, he was a media creation.
Fukk Jamie Foxx c00n ass. He is dating Katie Holmes so who gives a fukk about what he has to say. He should still be tap dancing in drag on in living color
Except this thread is about Kobe fanboys hating on Jaimie for expressing a personal opinion that doesn't paint Kobe in the best possible light. This is about the Kobe clowns and how unsufferable many of them are.
I see your point, and I agree even if Jamie's argument was bullshyt or it has potential bias behind it he's still entitled to it. But it still goes both ways. Yeah, the more rabid Kobe stans need to chill and be comfortable in Kobe's accomplishments instead of throwing shyt out there on some insecure shyt just like Kobe haters need to stop talking down Kobe's legacy just because some of his fans are annoying to them.
they put the same list on facebook and i chose Kobe as well to take off. The reason? He doesn't make other players better. He'll score 30 but lose the game. Shaq, Hakeem and the rest get guys easy shots.

Man it was a toss up between KG and Kobe at one point, Kobe was one of the most feared players of his era, consistently.
Although decorated and consistent (career average 19ppg 10rpg) 64% of his FGA were from within 10 feet, +He couldn't really dribble like the bigs of today, so his offensive "numbers" seemed more of the product of a team effort and coaches system.
When Kobe had the help (Shaq, Gasol) he proved he could do what was necessary to not only succeed, but to win championships multiple times.
The man studied. The man worked. And he worked. And he worked.
And he carved out his legacy.
No he wasn't as blessed physically and athletically as Lebron, but he worked and he crafted an emphatic, versatile, attacking offensive game while also being able to play above average to moderately great defense.
He wasn't a threat to get you 10 rebounds or 10 assists on any given night, but he could do it, and on the biggest stages (15 rebounds in game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals)
Dude was a threat to go off on your team for at least 25 (career average 25ppg 5rpg 5apg) but with the ability to get 30, 40 or 50 on any given night.
shyt he might go crazy and get 60 on you, or.. Maybe.. Just maybe.. He would enter super Saiyan Kobe mode and drop 80 on your ass..
The problem is the numbers don't support the stans' claims that Kobe was head and shoulders above the rest. Jordan was known as the superior scorer, clutch player, winner etc throughout his career and every metric backs it up.
Kobe basically got credit for being Jordan while he played but unless you are a fan of him, it never matched up.
