Jalen didn’t just apologize on his own, so obvious someone put in the call for him to do and that was ESPN/Disney.

I also never said Perk was a bad analyst. I just don’t care for him and he’s not the NBA at ESPN I could care less about.

It’s more to being an analyst than just getting things right or wrong.

“Talking heads” is still broadcast journalism and what the NBA has compared to let’s say…the MLB and NFL…is trash.

Instead guys discussing Xs and Os in a competent fashion…you get dumb topics like “Who’s the Best Player in the World” which seems to change every other day or “What did Lebron eat for Breakfast?” It’s disgusting.

Exactly. This man has created a lane for saying the most outlandish shyt to get attention and has ruined sport talk on TV. I went from not being able to live without ESPN a few years back to never even watching it now. shyt is a cesspool of bad hot takery and clown shyt and these nikkas lining of to be the next contestant in the circus.

I agree, I do not mind maybe one or two hot takes shows with a Skip like personality on them. But not for a whole network block. ESPN is just hot take show central. And whats worse is they all talk about the same thing.

I mean, a lot of people on here said they prefer that kind of coverage to more Xs and Os coverage. ESPN pandering to their audience :yeshrug:
