Ultimate gimmick offense player. Dude could have Jordan, Lebron and Kobe in his team. He would still bring the ball up the court, take the most shots and have the most assists. Trash ass player.
He wins games at the end of the day and produces while doing so. The only reason he doesnt have a ring or two is because of Kevin Durant. But I knew you were just biased when you tried to make the argument that pierce was better. Much better than pierce.

Pierce was better. Minus the gimmick playstyle, Harden wasn’t better than Pierce. If you want to go by stats, then Harden was better than Jordan and Kobe too. Miss me with this dude.

I'm not basing off stats. Harden is just a superior player. Better scorer, passer, and rebounder. You dont average 25ppg for 7 straight seasons off a gimmick. At some you just have to acknowledge what dude is doing. He drains 3-4 highly contested 3's a game using crafty footwork and he gets to the line 10 times a game because he forces defenders to foul him due to his craftiness. Nothing gimmicky about it. He surpassed Pierce years ago.

Doesn’t mean anything with it being preseason but this doesn’t certainly seem to be a situation where the two of them are equals. However, that’s still fine as long as they allow Russ to run the second unit when it matters.

Harden was up 3-2 against a healthy Warriors (with KD) after a 65 win season. The Rockets only lost because the only other all-star on his team tore his hamstring.

It's a Saturday morning and you over here crying like bytch. Get your life together.

That said, harden wins games. D'Antonio system wins games. You can call it what you want, but it wins. Period. No other team has beat the KD warriors in the playoffs more than the "popcorn" system you're crying about. Instead of bytching about a system you dont like how about you use actual logic. The system is good for 55-60 wins a year, factually. The system is the reason the rockets were able to push a FAR more talented team to 7 games. Again, James Harden would have multiple rings if KD doesnt join the warriors. They've been the 2nd best team in the league for 2 years now atleast and Vegas had them right behind GS. So basically, eat a dikk.

and cuz they choked away their lead by missing 27 3pters

Ariza holds the record of most missed threes by missing all 9 of his and ending the game with 0 pts

Also because their coach is so inept that he didnt change the game plan after missing 27 straight 3's. Why attack the basket or take midrange shots when u can brick 3's all game?

Warriors were missing Iguodala also, so we dont need to play the injury game.

Why do ya'll lose all perspective when it comes to Harden :dwillhuh:

How can you compare one of the greatest teams of all time (with two MVPS, one of the best defensive players of all time, and two of the greatest shooters of all time) losing their sixth man to a team with a short rotation losing their only other all-star caliber player? Iggy was obviously an important player for GSW but the Warriors already had an overwhelming talent advantage-- they can afford to lose a piece (especially one that isn't their core four).. The Rockets couldn't afford to lose CP3.

Everything else you mentioned isn't really indicative of Harden not being able to win, which was what I was disputing in the first place.

What happen the next year?
What does that have to do with what happened in 2018?
