He's had 4 good seasons, the last 2 are elite status. He'd have to keep this up for damn near another decade to be a HOF'er. You're not getting in the Hall based off of 4 years, fukk a YPC

Favored over Priest or LJ? Well I know Chiefs fans like to pretend LJ never existed but Herm ran that dude into the ground. He pulled a Wannstedt/Ricky Williams them three seasons he was HC.

Yeah I think he's a better back than LJ. He'll never be able to carry the workload LJ did. But to me he's the best Chiefs back I've seen. His recovery from a torn ACL is also low key underrated.

Last yr was the first time in his career he had over 10 rushing TDs, he's only rushed for over 1500 yards ONCE. He's a very good RB and easily one of the best in the game now, but he's nowhere near the HOF discussion.

This is a bit skewed. He used to get the chiefs all the way down to the GL and they would let Thomas Jones run for the TD.

The NFL needs to adjust their process then. Bettis was an ok player his entire career...I'd rather the elite player for 5 seasons than Bettis. That's the life on an NFL back now. Charles has been elite every year he's gotten the football.

No he hasn't. He did nothing as a rookie. Was solid the following year. He hasn't been at a HOF level except for 2 years

Charles is a top 3 RB in the league, but at him being in the HoF at this point in his career. Terrell Davis can't and probably won't even get in and he would have a better argument at this point

He doesnt go down on first contact. He doesnt have Shady's moves in the mud but he's good between the tackles.

He's not a great between the tackles runner

Last season was Jamal's first year in the top 10 In missed and broken tackles. The year prior he was 28th in the league. Let's not act as if he was a RB that didn't go down on first contact most of his career and is an in between the hashes runner. Dude is primarily an edge runner who does most of his damage outside it.
