Your ACTUAL PEOPLE, blood relatives, grow up in the same house, eat the same food....
If you building anything in Jamaica you have to visit frequently and check all documents. Only Nigeria beats us in scamming and fukkery.
When the man came home (to Jamaica - after sending all that money for a home to be built) and then saw that no house was built, he shot his father.
The scientist in me wants to talk about the connection between mass-scale economic deprivation (and how you can see it in Nigeria, Latin America, South East Asia, East Asia...), but the upbringing says "tief a tief"

My ex girlfriend’s mother who happened to be Jamaican, spent all her settlement money when she was in a coma from a car accident. My point ain’t that she’s Jamaican (I don’t think Jamaicans are more grimey than anyone else). Point is that it’s her damn mother
