See I had heard this but I didn’t know how widespread that sentiment was.Jamaicans were mad back in the day because he didn't rep "real" dancehall, but whatever. They got over it. He repped Jamaica well worldwide.
Who then? I'm talking just global mainstream popularity, and I can't think of anyone that got close to his run.
