Jamaicans were mad back in the day because he didn't rep "real" dancehall, but whatever. They got over it. He repped Jamaica well worldwide.
This is why I'm asking. I always got that impression that back in the day people kinda hated the fact that he was the one that blew up

If not Sean Paul, must be Vybz Kartel especially now after being released from Jail?

Most non Caribbean people I've met think Bob Marley then Sean Paul when they think of Jamaican music.

Not a Yardman but any of them foolish enough to do/think that sort of shyt, while giving Vulture Lazer a pass, needs they ass whupped.
Especially if they lived in America, because Sean Paul was the codebreaker for any non verstatile American DJ playing a majority Caribbean crowd and the dancefloor looking anemic.

Who..who is Vulture Lazer?!!?!?:dwillhuh:

He is by far the most well known dancehall artist globally. Did his run have yardbrehs mad back in the day/now? Was he considered a sellout?

“we hate those that rep us and are black” in their eyes

Im not Jamaican but being from Brooklyn whweee they are a lot of them
