What I would be interested in seeing is what those who interact with her on a normal bases say about her. Is she known for being unhinged, has she become a drug addict, has the stress of a failing business caused her to become mentally ill?
Now would I forgive her for what she said, No. Would I generalize what she said over the entire population of her ethnicity, no. I and my wife have dealt with the passive aggressive sly comments by some islanders before, but outright calling for our death by police is not something I have seen in person nor heard of happening before.
I do find it disconcerting that some want what she said hidden and others want to pawn off what she said as mental illness without any real evidence to support the assertion. We here seem to have no problem calling out negativity done by bad actors in the Black American community, but there are some very willing to try to obscure the bad actors from other Black ethnicity communities.
