Hollywood Beauty Products and Pink Lotion I don't think has petroleum in them but nowadays it's probably something more organic on the market for you but those are some I remember using back in the day.

who's against it? i started after i realized it was pretty much universally agreed upon as the thing to thicken your beard. can't conclusively say the beard is any thicker, but it hasn't hurt
