Punishments should get worse as the season goes on and people repeat offenses. You know Jalen Carter got suspended for that, and there are a million 4K cameras around you....and you still do it?

I'd give someone less time for throwing a punch than I would someone who intentionally spit on another person. Men can throw hands and hash it out down the line, but ain't no reconciling spitting in another man's face if he has any dignity or self respect.
He should get 3 games ideally, with the third being added for lying about it. Realistically, he should get two games minimum. This is the third or fourth time this has happened this season with a player. One clearly isn't enough to get the message out.

NFL needs to suspend him at least 2 games for trying to lie about it 
The NFL said they technically "suspended" Carter as they considered his ejection at the start of the game as him serving his suspension. The NFL said him getting ejected equated to the one game suspension.
