I'd like to believe this was a simple mistake......However, if he DID steal these crab legs on purpose AFTER EVERYTHING he's been through. ...Jameis would be a straight up damn fool. Why embarrass all the university, the fans and teammates that supported you? In fact why continue to embarrass yourself? Its all good until he cant play ball anymore and really becomes a laughing stock to people. Then the big supporters of him will disappear....because why defend/support a clown?

Peep how deep these scenes are. Perfect example of being wrong as hell. But you understand the disappointment and anger.

But lets hope he isnt a fool......and just made a mistake.

Oh trust me I HOPED it was a mistake. Because when i first heard the news I thought it was just a silly rumor. Then i was like "damn breh we all cheered as you escaped a rape charge just last year and you're gonna put yourself in this position, now and make all your supporters look stupid???"
At first i was like mayybe it's something where he got to the register and was paying and something happened and then somehow everything BUT the crab legs were charged.
But once i heard the "forgot to pay" sh!t i was like :comeon:
My aunt used to own a couple of grocery stores down in Caroll City near Miami. If i got a penny for every time someone got caught and gave the "forgot to pay" line like ...
But to make things worst you listen to this cat @goatnole tell the story and you're like :wtf: okay something is definitely fishy

As shifty and elusive as Jameis Winstonwas on the field in his first season as Florida State’s starting quarterback, he’s just the same off of it. Reportedly.

Monday evening the full incident report from the redshirt sophomore’s latest encounter with law enforcement in and around the Tallahassee area was released, with a picture being painted that doesn’t quite square itself with the “I forgot” mea culpa laid out previously.

To quickly recap, Winston was cited last week for shoplifting a little over $32 in seafood from a grocery store. He was suspended from the baseball team and thenultimately reinstated after performing 20 hours of community service. In a statement of apology, the reigning Heisman winner acknowledged in part that he “made a terrible mistake for which I’m taking full responsibility. In a moment of youthful ignorance, I walked out of the store without paying for one of my items.”

Forgot? Consciously and willfully eluded? Somewhere in between? You decide. From the Tallahassee Democrat’s account of the police report:

As he was leaving the store, Winston appeared to pause in front of a Leon County deputy who was working in-store security detail at the time. The pause, the incident report said, appeared to be an attempt to avoid walking in front of the deputy. He said Winston then walked behind the deputy, past all registers and out of the store. A Publix employee told deputies he noticed Winston walk out of the store and assumed he hadn’t paid for his purchase since he didn’t have a grocery bag. He and his manager watched Winston walk out of the store because they thought he was grabbing a shopping cart. They soon realized Winston walked out without paying when he didn’t return.

The seafood clerk who took Winston’s order said the Heisman-winner regularly visits the store and that he gave Winston a bar code price tag on the seafood before he left the counter, the incident report said.

The Democrat writes that “Winston ordered three pounds of steamed crab legs with Old Bay seasoning and one pound of steamed crawfish with Cajun seasoning and then left the store.” Winston did dispute, as he had been accused, stealing butter so he’s got that going for him, which is nice.

And, apropos of nothing, the 2014 college football season will kick off exactly 114 days from today.

per CFT

:snoop:

Really hope the video that gets released disputes some of this shyt. Cause dodging cops for Crab legs is a damn shame.

@Intruder v3.0 @goatnole

What's yall opinion on this new report that came out?:sas2:
I'll wait for @goatnole to "enlighten" us with his thorough knowledge of the case and we can examine his summation. :sas1:
That mofo kept telling me to "check the video" and when i asked him to post it he disapeared.

It's simple folks: STOP going to bat for these freakin athletes like they're family. You dont know these mofos. I'm not gonna put my credibility on the line only to find out I defended a guilty mofo. I was ready to wait and see and give the young man the benefit of a doubt until i heard the words "forgot to pay" come out.

Sadly...this is the case...

I find myself defending athletes more on the internet...cause well....we're not really "out there" defending em.

The last time I really went hard defending someone was Michael Vick back in 07.......what a disappointment

:to::snoop:

If you stealing.....and you know they got camera's of you stealing....especially when the cops show up at your door....

He'd been better off just admitting it.

I could buy (no pun) him saying he stole it cause he was hungry as hell and during finals week they only allow 1 meal a day...

than to outright steal it on tape and say you didnt realize it and forgot to pay.

If he didnt have the other shyt it wouldnt be that big of a deal. But you got out of a rape case (I dont THINK he did it....but still) and you already got breaking windows with BB guns/stealing soda in Burger King ketchup cups:lupe:

I'm like dude....

How can I trust you as the face of an NFL franchise when you out here reckless?
I worry he's got that Vince Young/JaMarcus Russell like lack of awareness. Just a damn shame.

When an athlete that I root for comes up in the news accused of something I always take the "wait and see" approach. I've been disapointed too many times in the past to put my credibility at risk for some clown only to look like a fool later.
  • Cecil Collins
  • Brian Cox
  • O.J.
  • Michael Beasley
Just to name a few. Especially OJ. After you skated through that murder charge and we rooted and supported you and you're gonna pull some dumb shyt like this over freakin memorabilia????? He can rot in Jail. No. I REFUSE to defend a mofo whom I dont know. Now, I wont agree with people rushing to judgement about you but i wont come to your rescue either.

The thing I've got to stop doing...

Defending them at all. Have no opinion.

Because even if I strongly believe he didnt rape that girl (wait and see approach...reviewing the the police documents)

You never know when people are gonna be a fool out here. Wasted energy on someone doing their best to keep negative press around them. smh.

WHen it comes to rape cases i usually wait and see. I know how chicks be sometimes and when i was just 12, I almost became a victim of that same bullshyt.

Some chick who's family was close friends with mine told her dad that i put my hand up her skirt one day on our way home while my dad wasnt looking (She used to carpool with us). Just so she could get attention. At the time her own mother defended me accusing her of lying. Mind you, this hapened in Haiti where mofos just show up at your house with either guns and machetes for messing with their daughters. Aint none of that "call the police " shyt in those parts.

Anyway, everyone finally realized she was lying and left it alone. To this day our families are still close friends but she still cant look me in the eye when they come to my moms house in Miami.
