I see where you're coming from but has he even been able to practice these 3 weeks? Even though he's familiar with a lot of them you'd think he'd at least need some reps especially going up against the Bears defense on a short week. Bye after that too. Last thing I'd want would be to throw Jameis under prepared off a short week against that defense, struggling and going into the bye with more qb "controversy".

Yet has never done what Fitz has these past 3 games :francis:
2 ints against the Steelers that weren't his fault, and other than that horrible pick 6 Fitz has been playing far too well to just instantly bench for a dude that has just been inconsistently "alright" before he got suspended
The big numbers are nice but let’s be real.

Fitz been playing for 14 seasons with no pro-bowls, and 1 winning season. Jameis played for 3 seasons with a pro-bowl to his name, and 1 winning season while playing in the toughest division in football for the entirety of his career.

Now that our offensive line looks like it is complete and we have a new coordinator now’s the time to see what your most talented franchise QB can do.

Tho I would be hesistant to throw him in against that Bears front 7

Pretty much and we already picked up his 5th year, so he's gonna make like 20-21 mil next season anyway, he's got whenever he comes back this year, plus all of next season to show that he's got it and we wouldn't draft a QB til after that anyway since you're gonna pay a back up QB that type of money. Its crazy that after 14 seasons, that people believe that the light just magically turned on and now all of a sudden, he's a different QB, you don't bounce around the league to 6 teams for no reason. Fitz is what he is, he's the perfect back up that can come in and hold it down for 3-4 games before your starter comes back, but if you sign him to be your starter, he's gonna fukk it up.

Fitz will play the Chicago game and then they should bring Winston in for the Atlanta game, that's gonna be tough since it'll be in Atlanta.

Been rocking w/ Winston since the FSU days, but Im riding w/ Fitz for now.

Im also thinking long term, if Winston doesn't have the #1 spot locked down by seasons ends, no way he can demand to be the highest paid QB in the NFL.

We can have our QB of the future w/o over paying for him like the Vikes did w/ Cousins and the 9ers did w/ Jimmy G.

As long as we can keep this OC we are close to be legit SB Contenders.

Adding 1, or 2 pieces in Free Agency and having a solid draft next year and well be in the thick of things in 2019.
Why would winston demand to be the highest paid qb? :dwillhuh:

Not sure if you read that the way I meant it.

Im basically saying, whichever starting QB signs in any given year normally becomes the highest paid QB in the NFL.

Thats some what true but thats due to dumb ass GMs, not the player demanding it.

It's like when Wentz came back Super Bowl MVP Foles went back to the bench because he's the back up period. Fitzpatrick is the back up. He's been in the league 14 years. He's not even close to a solution. If Winston isn't the long term solution then cut him or trade him but to disrespect him like this is disgusting. That's supposed to be their franchise QB and they're entertaining the idea of starting a backup over him. It's like CC said here with no hesitation you start him.

1. They haven't won anything with Jameis. Has he even made the playoffs yet.
2. The Way Fitzmagic is playing right now, Winston on his best day hasn't played this well nor put up these numbers.
3. He doesn't deserve to start. The bucs receivers are happy. Winston fukked up that's why he's in this position.

I feel bad for Dirk Koettner.. I wouldn't wanna have to make that decision.

He only has himself to blame.

End of story. I don't wanna hear about race or anything else. This dude is a colossal idiot who has embarrassed himself and all the people who defended him, including myself. He doesn't seem to understand that this could be his first and last shot, given the fact that the NFL has no interest in black backup QBs.

The NFL will figure Fitz out like they always do. There’s a reason why he’s always a backup :francis:
