The problem here is that he says there were 2 other people in the car and she's confused about who was sitting next to her but he didn't actually say it didn't happen just that HE didn't do it, the uber driver said he was the only one in the car. So in the least it sounds fishy and I guess given the past he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.
