he's a goof off the field but on it he's locked in. he's got arm talent, leadership ability and understanding of defenses that kap, johnny and troutmouth wish they had. you seen them balls he was putting out tonight? straight nfl throws in tight windows and the WRs were dropping them. he can't throw and catch.

as much as the defense was asking him to do, he was bound to fukk up at some point. we not getting mariota but jameis is better at this qb shyt anyway. and miles better than mettenberger.

if we draft him and surround him w/ playmakers, he'll get us back to competitiveness and relevancy.

we should've made a run at bridgewater last year anyway.
The game I was watching, the offense couldn't score a touchdown early to save their lives, putting more pressure on the defense to perform, which had them being bound to fukk up

so you dont want a potentially great player because of his off field personality ? :what:

youre everythin wrong with the sports world

Overrated on the field too.nikkas drinking the kool aid with his type of QB yet again still haven't learned their lesson. Great in college does not equal great in NFL.

Jan 15th, but apparently he's already made up his mind to play baseball.

They tryin to say he can still prep for the draft while playing, but that's ridiculous. If he's playing baseball that means he can't get an agent, still has to go to school, and if he got an outside QB coach he'd need to pay out of pocket (which ain't happening cause those cats are expensive and don't fly out to train.)

:what: you dont know why someone would test the waters in a sport where they giving out $100-200 million contracts on the regular and up to $300 million contracts, instead of just waiting for a phone call to geta $20 million contract in a non gguaranteedcontract sport ?

man yall starting New Years off with some horrible posting

:upsetfavre:

He's GUARANTEED to be a millionaire in the NFL. He's gambling that future for a COLLEGIATE SPORT. He can still get fukking drafted in the MLB. They draft football players all of the time for no reason at all. He doesn't lose his MLB status based on his ability to play this spring for FSU. It's a dumb ass decision to play.

Thats not totally accurate. I knew someone who played college football, but entered the baseball draft and played in the minors. Played double A ball then returned for fall football.

So I assume one could play baseball in college. While still performing for the NFL draft process.

I dont recall it happening before (Maybe Bo Jackson?) but its possible.

However, I think we should take what he says after the game with a grain of salt. He's emotional right now and I'm sure he doesnt want to go out this way. But once his family starts hearing about that 24 million dollars on the table. He's likely leaving. I'm sure he loves college though.

Then why would you want Mariota, it's two side of the same coin?

I actually don't care for neither of em but this year's draft don't offer up too much so you gotta roll with what's out there and I'll say I give Mariota a slight edge in skill over Winston. Better poise in the pocket and not as careless with the ball. Could be a Russell Wilson type. But I'm not gonna act like the off the field shyt don't come into play b/c it does. You can't just ignore that shyt, especially when you're talking about handing over the keys to the franchise to a man. Plenty of wasted picks on nikkas whose careers fall by the wayside b/c they couldn't stop doing dumb shyt and just end up setting a franchise back even further.

Damn jameis it'd be one thing if FSU lost a close one but y'all lost by 40 and got embarrassed in the second half.

I can see that reasoning, but with how the new rookie contracts are, not as much money is tied to those top picks, so the cord can be cut at any time without a big ass penalty.

The difference between Jameis and those cats is that Jameis wasn't drafted by a team and doesn't have a MLB contract in the background to hold him over. If he strains his shoulder pitching his NFL draft status drops, not even because the injury, but teams are gonna be giving the :why: as to why he's playing baseball in the first place. Hurt while training is fine. Hurt while playing another sport? They'll give him the nahhhhhhhh

I had a teammate that played AAA. He said that agents include clauses in their contract that if they go to college that the MLB team pays for it and they're still eligible for college sports so it's possible to play both, but he's gotta get drafted/contract first. I wouldn't even think it's bad if he was signed to a squad.
