That is true but his passing is still garbage for certain routes. You can also see that he has more straight ahead speed. I argued with folks when Matt Jones came out that because he ran a 4.4 was not the same as a dude who ran a 4.4 but could change direction. It is like Vicks 4.2 it wasn't that he was fast it was he could maintain speed and change direction on a dime.....same with Barry Sanders.

Marcus Mariota speed is overrated and will not be a factor in the NFL.

Between Jameis' off the field stuff and Mariotta looking, well, meh...both of them could potentially drop.

Lets talk about Winston on field. 18 ints and 8 fumbles in the weakest conference in football.

I don't neither one of them is a franchise QB and should be taking toward the top of the 1st.

But the coli somehow acting like Winston has proven that he is going to be some great QB is laughable.

He looks more elusive than RG3.

However, he doesnt have that rare speed like Vick and RG3.

I agree. Just because Jamies can adjust pre-snap doesnt necessarily mean he's going to be a good pro. We overate stuff every QB should be able to do because college offenses have become so simplified. Jameis' footwork is a mess and I still think his throwing motion will give him problems early.

TB, Tenn, NYJ, and at 13 NO all need QB's.... This ain't Teddy Bridgewater(and I liked him).... He will be drafted by one of those teams unless someone trades up(which may well happen).

Mariotta will be gone by pick 13.

I haven't dismissed anything. I think Winston's the better prospect of the two. But he's no where near a cant miss player like Luck was. Fact is , Winston didn't play all that well this season- regardless of how many "pro" throws he made.
