For all the shyt Twimmy (@theworldismine13 ) gets about the "voice" of hip hop and its effects on youth, particularly black (and brown)...re:poor, IMHO there is some credence to be given to the lack of a positive voice (and perhaps the overabundance of a negative one) in the lives of the youth of today

How sad is it that The Coli spends more time on what it hates about
black culture than what it likes ? Or at least what represents the ideals that
some claim to be striving for.
If there is anyone individual that did this, it is surely James Baldwin.
