I've concluded three reasons why the Evans Family didn't make it out the project. 1. Florida Evans, 2. James always gave way to Florida's religious morals over his own plans for the family. 3. I also concluded that when James realize that it was Florida and her white Jesus she had hanging on her living room wall that was keeping them in poverty, James fake his death in a car accident, moved to New York, changed his last name to McDowell, opened up a successful restaurant, married, had two daughters, and made his plan work with another woman whereby now his daughter is queen of Zamunda.
This the same thing King Richard did...said he was going to the store and never came back, started a whole new family that allow him to implement his plans to get them out of proverty.
Fellas, if you can't make it work with one family because of an uncooperative woman go start another one.
