outside of Pineapple Express and 127 Hours, i never walked away from a movie with Franco thinking "man, that Franco is a good actor." Apes was great, but i didnt give 2 shyts about Franco. I still say PE is his best role, fukk an oscar nom.

No but he is a very solid actor that has put out some incredible performances. Oddly enough, I liked Harry Osbourn and his James Dean was very good to in that TV movie he did.

Ryan Gosling may be a better actor but he doesn't have Franco's catalog.

Casey is awful somtimes, but every now and then he comes with a performance like Robert Ford and leaves you thinkin he might turn out to be something
